Why the name? This raccoon was Susan’s she raised him from a sickly baby who was not pretty enough to be part of her Animal Tracks project that he and his sister Lucy were purchased for, but after she nursed him back to health she was able take some great photos and promised herself and him that she would one day draw him as well. So here he is peering at you as he relaxes on his bed of brilliant orange Arkansas Trumpet Vine.
